The hotel is considered the masterpiece of the architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan, who after five years under construction, was inaugurated in 1926 by King Alfonso XIII with the name “Hotel Prince of Asturias”. Subsequently, from 1936 it was a hospital in the Spanish Civil War. In 1939 he returned to his origins, in this case under the name of “Hotel Miramar” concluding his operation for this purpose in 1967, to become between 1987 and 2007 in the palace of justice. This beautiful historic building welcomed illustrious guests of European royalty, the world of culture and the Spanish bourgeoisie.
